HALEN / IF YOU’RE IN AN ACCIDENT
What riders and drivers should do after an accident during a Halen trip.
Move to a safe place if you can. Turn on hazard lights. Call 911 if anyone is hurt or the road is blocked.
Drivers: make sure your rider is okay and out of harm’s way.
Get the other driver’s name, phone number, license number, plate, and insurance details.
Take photos of all vehicles, the scene, and the plates. Ask the police for the report number.
Don’t admit fault or discuss who is to blame at the scene. Don’t agree to any payment. Stick to the facts.
Report the accident to Halen right away, even if no one seems hurt, through the Halen Driver app, the rider app, or Halen’s 24/7 in-app chat. Halen will check that everyone is okay, gather the information needed, and notify our insurance carrier.
