HALEN / SAFETY & COMMUNITY
Clear expectations for customers, drivers, and recipients—before the ride, during the journey, and at the delivery door.
Use considerate language and respect personal boundaries. Avoid harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or unwanted personal contact.
Treat the vehicle and people’s belongings with care. Ask before changing music or temperature, and avoid creating unnecessary mess.
Meet where stopping is allowed. Do not ask a driver to speed, stop in an unsafe place, or ignore traffic restrictions.
Match the driver and vehicle details to the booking, including the license plate. Wait somewhere visible, and do not enter a vehicle if the details do not match. Let the car stop before approaching or opening a door.
Once inside, buckle up and keep doors and exits clear. If you are traveling with children or equipment, arrange the appropriate vehicle and seating before requesting.
Provide accurate item and address details. Package the item securely and make sure the recipient expects it. Never pressure a driver to accept an item that falls outside the service’s rules or to leave it somewhere that has not been agreed.
A clear instruction is helpful. A demand to break a rule is not.
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| A mismatch at pickup | Stay outside the vehicle and resolve the issue through the service you booked. |
| An uncomfortable interaction | Set a clear boundary. If you want to end a trip, seek a safe place to stop and use the official help channel when you can. |
| An immediate threat or emergency | Call local emergency services. In the United States, call 911. |
| A concern to report afterward | Keep the booking reference, time, and a factual description. Share the details through a verified support channel. |
