SENDING A PACKAGE
Send the package.

A forgotten item or a handoff across town should not take over your afternoon. Prepare for Halen’s planned local package delivery service.
THE BASICS
A local handoff,
planned from both ends.
Start with the item, the pickup address, and the person receiving it.
Halen package delivery has a 50 lb weight limit. Do not send chemicals or drugs. Meeting the driver is recommended, and door drop-off is available. Read What Can I Send? for the confirmed guidance.
This is a preparation guide. It does not mean an item is approved for transport or that a delivery time is guaranteed.
BEFORE YOU REQUEST
Four details that prevent
a delivery from getting stuck.
Check both addresses.
Include the building, unit or suite, and correct entrance. Verify that the recipient can receive the delivery there.
Agree on the handoff.
Confirm who will hand over the parcel and who will receive it. Tell the recipient before requesting the delivery.
Keep the essentials handy.
Have an accurate item description and the recipient’s contact details ready. Share only information needed for delivery.

- Confirm that a receptionist or other person can accept it.
- Avoid unnecessary personal information.
- Share access details only through an appropriate private channel.
- Do not assume an unattended drop-off is permitted.

Before you send it.
Is package delivery the same as grocery or food ordering?
No. Sending a prepared parcel is different from asking someone to shop or ordering from a restaurant. Food, grocery, retail shopping, stays, and flights are later expansion plans—not part of the initial rides-and-package launch described here.
Can I send something to a shop, office, or apartment building?
First confirm that the location accepts deliveries, its receiving hours, and the person responsible for the handoff. Service area and item eligibility still need to be checked when booking becomes available.
What if the recipient cannot be reached?
Halen allows door drop-off, although meeting the driver is recommended. Provide clear instructions. If a signature or PIN is required and nobody can complete it, use in-app support for help.
Are packages insured or guaranteed to arrive by a certain time?
Do not assume coverage or a guaranteed arrival time. Ask Halen’s in-app support about applicable coverage, exclusions, and claims before sending an item that requires protection.
