HALEN / ACCOUNT REVIEW & DEACTIVATION
Why a driver account can be restricted or deactivated, and how to ask Halen for a review.
Halen may restrict or end access for:
| Reason | Examples |
|---|---|
| Eligibility or insurance | Losing eligibility, such as a suspended license, or a lapse in required insurance. |
| Safety | Unsafe conduct, or an immediate risk to riders or others. |
| Breaches | Serious or repeated breaches of the Driver Agreement or Halen’s policies. |
| Fraud or account misuse | Fraud, or someone else using your account. |
| Nonpayment | Unpaid subscription or insurance charges. |
| Rating | An average driver rating below 4 stars. |
| Legal requirements | When the law requires it. |
Halen may place an immediate temporary restriction when it is reasonably needed to protect safety, prevent fraud, or comply with the law.
Halen will give you the reason for a restriction or deactivation and the available review process, unless the law prohibits it or disclosure would seriously compromise safety or an investigation.
Send your request to support@halentech.com.
Your account details, what happened, and any relevant evidence.
Halen reviews the information without unreasonable delay and tells you its decision.
Deactivation does not forfeit earned, undisputed payments. If Halen permanently deactivates your account, it stops future subscription renewals. During a temporary restriction, Halen will explain how your subscription is treated.
