A few details help the package reach the right place, whether you meet the driver or use door drop-off.
Before the driver arrives.
Choose the handoff
Meeting the driver is recommended. If the package will be left at the door, make sure the sender provides clear drop-off instructions.
Know the confirmation
Deliveries use a photo. If a signature or PIN is required, make sure the receiving person can complete it.
If you cannot meet the driver.
Halen offers on-demand delivery with door drop-off. Tell the sender where the package should be delivered and check that the location can be reached. Do not assume a signature or PIN requirement can be skipped because you are unavailable.
After drop-off.
Retrieve the package promptly and check the delivery location before reporting it missing. At a staffed building, ask whether reception or another authorized person accepted it.
