Know what happens next.
For a ride, meet at the agreed pickup point and match the driver and vehicle to your booking. For delivery, have the package ready and make sure the recipient knows it is coming. Meeting the driver is recommended; door drop-off is also available.
Package deliveries use a photo, with a signature or PIN when required. If a problem comes up, Halen offers 24/7 in-app chat.
Understand the money.
A $3.95 booking fee is added to each ride’s fare, including rides charged at the minimum fare. Drivers pay payment-processing fees and keep 100% of fares and tips, minus third-party fees. Drivers pay a separate weekly subscription plus commercial insurance.
